On a smartphone, music players can be considered as one of the main tools for viewing and interacting with music. Generally, players present users with a list of songs that they can interact with. However, this form of interaction is neither intuitive nor attractive from the users point of view. For example, in a playlist it is difficult to identify songs similar to a particular song of interest to the user; or identify other artists similar to the one the user is currently listening to. Given this scenario, the project "A mobile application for exploring artist relationships in music networks" aimed to investigate, propose and develop a mobile application for exploring artist relationships in music networks, Vitrola - IC. In addition to being able to interact in a simple way with a large number of artists linked through a network (like a graph), it is expected that the user will also be able to listen to songs for free, and receive recommendations for new songs according to the your interests.This project was developed at the State University of Maringá by the scientific initiation student Lucas Silva Couto with the guidance of professor Marcos Aurelio Domingues.This project is still in its infancy, but you can collaborate with us using the game and sending suggestions to the e-mail address: [email protected].
